So if I’m ever feeling anxious or out of sorts (who isn’t these days right?), picking up the pencils is one of the few things that truly calms me✨My other go-to self help remedies are baking & yoga (nowhere near as often as I should). I cried today. Like a proper can’t catch your breath, ugly cry. This was because I got yet another ‘hey just thought you should see this, it looks just like yours’ message. Now don’t get me wrong, I appreciate SO much when you guys notify me of copycats, so please don’t stop, but the truth is, it’s becoming more & more frequent & it hurts every time💔
I work tirelessly to come up with unique ideas & do lots of research to make sure no one else has done anything similar, so it breaks my heart when I see those creations ripped off (often by other Welsh folk which doubly sucks).
I know how hard it can be for creatives & I cheer on others daily, but this isn’t about healthy competition, this is about theft 💔
I don’t have enough characters here to say all I need to say, so I’ll be following this up with a blog post, but I’ve kept quiet about this for way too long so I felt it needed to be said.
⚡️To you loyal customers that come to me for the original artwork DIOCH 💖 THANK YOU. I promise to always strive to put everything I have into your orders & make them perfect for you.
⚡️& to those that see mine but buy from the person creating something similar but with a lower price tag, I understand you have to buy what your budget allows, but please know that mine are priced as they are because of the time taken to come up with the original design & the quality (I use all the highest. quality materials to help ensure they arrive to you perfectly & to a standard that will last) & for the customer service (just look at my feedback, I respond to EVERY message, EVERY custom request, I put EVERYTHING I have into this.
⚡️Finally to those copycats, please stop, it hurts. Know that I see you, I’ve bookmarked you & I won’t always just pretend it isn’t happening.
