Here are a few shots of my work at this years 'Pick Me Up' at Somerset House.
The exhibition was a HUUUGE success and was jam packed full of visual beauts for every type of eye, so I feel very lucky to have been a part of it all. Big thanks to all the people who sent me lovely feedback and big loves to everyone who bought framed originals and prints of my work too x

I'm very pleased to finally be able to show you the six 3D illustrations I created for Pick Me Up 2012. Each one is box framed and will be on sale at the exhibition when it opens its doors next week.
Limited edition signed prints will also be available to order once the exhibition opens. Hope you like them!!

Ahead of the TED BAKER event (mentioned below), three of us contributing illustrators were invited to draw a piece to give customers an idea of what to expect on the day. Matthew Green was asked to draw menswear SS12 and I was asked to draw womenswear SS12.
Meanwhile, Harry Malt had the task of drawing the elusive Mr Ted Baker.

This Saturday (17.03.12) I'll be in 'Ted's drawing room' in London with 10 other illustrators, drawing TED BAKER customers for a special one day portrait event.
You'll be able to watch the event streamed live on Ted Baker's facebook page from 12-8.
Here's how it works:

• Ted has hand picked 11 illustrators with a mix of styles who will all be based in a live artists studio at the UBB whilst the events are taking place and in real time they will ‘choose their muse’ by selecting interesting looking customers off this feed & create a one off/bespoke illustration.

• The finished one off piece of art will be added to the Instagram feed & FB gallery for all to see

• The lucky customer wins this original print framed, signed and ready to hang on their wall

• The illustrators will be streamed live into the stores so customers can see & get involved.

• All of the activity including a commissioned film of the event will be featured across all of Ted’ social media channels

So check out the event in a store near you:

• UK London – Floral St (12-8pm)
• UK London – Bluewater (12-8pm)
• UK Brighton (12-8pm)
• UK Manchester – Trafford (12-8pm)
• UK Leeds (12-8pm)
• UK Glasgow (12-8pm)
• UK Dublin (12-8pm)
• USA Soho (until 3pm EST)
• USA Meatpacking (until 3pm EST)

Oh, hello. After spending a couple of months in London working on a job for MTV (*coming soon*) I'm now back in the studio, working hard on a brand spanking new series of illustrations.

Talented digital illustrator & general lover of all things fashiony D'andhra sent me a beautiful Valentines card all the way from LA & in return asked me to take a photograph of me with it. So here I am & here it is..

Niki

So, on a non illustration related note, I baked a heart shaped cake today. S'how I roll...

I dropped by YCN today to discuss some new projects we'll be working on & thought I'd share some of the 72 Rivington Street delights with you. Their shop is rammed full of beautiful new products, it's a definite 'must visit' if you're in London anytime soon.

Big thanks to @becciewatson at @derwentpencils for sending me my latest pencil fix - keeping me well & truly supplied for the MTV job I'm working on right now...
