The 'Not In' collection 2011

The brilliant people at 'Not In' have created a campaign poster which is designed to promote what me and 59 other creatives do. The circles are coloured to represent which field we are in (illustrators, painters, graphic designers etc) and the bigger the circle, the more they think the readers should check us out.
I'm number one - pink, top left...
The posters are available to buy exclusively with counter-objects.
They are A1 inkjet printed onto 180gsm bright white matt coated paper. Limited Edition 100 run, 75 white and 25 black each poster is numbered.

I'm currently in the process of getting a run of limited edition prints made. They will be available to buy through my website and at a selected number of galleries and shops very soon.

I've just received the invites for my exhibition at Oriel Plas Glyn Y Weddw, they fold into lovely little postcards :)

If you've never been to the gallery, then it's well worth checking out - it's a beautiful building set in a stunning location & is the oldest art gallery in Wales.Fact.

I've just got all twenty six pieces of my work back from the framers ready for my exhibition at Glyn Y Weddw - here are a couple of them for your eyes.

One of the many animal related commissions I did over the Christmas period.
It was a surprisingly enjoyable break from all the portraits and one I might even venture into again sometime, so get in touch if you have a pet I can get drawing.

It's been a busy few weeks for me & it's fair to say that I've neglected this blog a fair bit, but with a pretty good excuse. Among other things, I've just finished working a set of illustrations for Paul McCartney's new album dvd. I can't show you any sneak previews just yet, but I hope to be able to very very soon.

Volt Magazine

Right now I should be on a train to London for my shoot with the beautiful biannual that is Volt Magazine, but the snow has messed it all up for me. I was supposed the be featured alongside some brilliant individuals as an 'Icon' in their next issue, so I'm pretty gutted that I can't make it, but fingers crossed I'll work with them on something else next year.
Just thought I'd share my disappointment with you.

I've just added a new gallery of illustrations to my website. These pieces will all be exhibited at Plas Glyn Y Weddw in January 2011, and can be purchased through the gallery itself - prints will also be available, get in touch with me for more details.

ELLE Magazine

Here I am in the current issue of ELLE Korea. If you can read Korean (or just like looking at nice pictures) and live in the USA Canada, Russia, Japan or Korea, pick up a copy - it's their Christmas issue and is very very lovely.

Blanket Magazine

The celebration issue of Blanket magazine is here and guess who's in it? It's rammed full of beautifully inspiring illustrations by very talented folks, and I for one and flattered to be among them. This wonderful magazine doesn't come alone either. If you get yourself a copy, you'll find it comes with a calendar *you'll find me in May*
