Here's a link to a lovely little feature about me and my illustrations.
The Import talks all things creative, and as part of the 'weheart' family, is definitely a blog worth bookmarking if you haven't already done so.

It's rude to stare

I draw in biro quite a lot, but usually only by itself. It's great if I'm out and about with my sketchbook because it's all I need to take, but in my studio I have everything at my fingertips - literally, so I thought it was time to experiment.'It's rude to stare' is a combination of biro, ink, pencil, watercolour and gold pen.

My blog's been quiet, because I've been busy.

I've just got back from a beautiful trip to Paris, visiting where I will be moving shortly. I love it there.
My sixth 'We hold secrets' illustration is pretty obviously inspired by my travels.

The illustrations I created for the lovely 'Your Eyes Lie' are now in their Carnaby street store, at their Oxford Street Topshop concession and available to buy online *here* *here*, and there's one more coming soon.
I'm also in the process of illustrating more designs for them which I'm really excited about - I'll show you when they're done.

Freestyle Magazine Launch

Being in Paris meant that I missed the Berlin launch party for issue two of Freestyle Magazine, but none the less it's here. and ready to be flicked through, then thrown around the garden in the summer sun.
If you can get your hands on this beautiful magazine, you'll find eight of my specially commissioned portraits of the current contributors/important people laid over six double page spreads. This issue comes in a Pantone 806c pink frisbee specially designed by Sir Paul Smith.

I'm back

Alright, so it's been a while since my last post, but after a bit of time in Paris, I'm back and ready to show you my latest illustrations and features. I've got lots to show, and since I'm now going to be based between Paris and Wales, keep checking for some Parisian influenced updates.

Freshly framed & hanging

6 strings & a muse

Based in New York, '6 strings & a muse' are a media company and music blog, specialising in producing visual media for music artists and bands. Their work includes photo shoots, album covers, photo and video coverage at live shows, EPK and music videos.
A few weeks ago, they got in touch & commissioned me to design a new logo for them, and here it is:

I'll soon be drawing a couple of portraits for their website too, I'll let you know when they're done & dusted.

Lactofree Advert

A few months ago I was commissioned to illustrate this new advert for Lactofree. Animated by the talented people at OutsideLine, 'The Dairy Dilemma' has been created to raise awareness of lactose intolerance, and to let sufferers know that there is another option available other then dairy free.
